The event is Scheduled for January 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Drexel University.

The talk highlights the alarming increase of infections obtained during OR procedures.  The agenda includes a 40-year history of the controversy related to clean air and its effectiveness for reducing infections.  As
bacteria strains evolve and develop increasing resistance to
antibiotics now more than ever do we need to be aware of the life
threatening encounters we are exposed to.

 

The talk includes a summary of all the best
practices being deployed in leading institutions to eliminate acquired
OR infections.  These practice
include the real-time measurement of all environmental variables
including airflow, particle count and bacteria present in the Operating
Room during the procedure fully integrated in the advanced Bioinformatics data systems of the future.
